Cookie policy

Your choice
This website uses a necessary preference to remember your cookie choice. Google Maps only loads in your browser after you explicitly allow it. You can request a ride without Google and enter your pickup and destination yourself.
“Necessary only” keeps optional services off. “Accept all” enables the optional Google Maps features. In “Cookie settings”, you can switch Google Maps on or off and choose “Save preferences”. Analytics and advertising trackers are not active.

Google Maps and address suggestions
If you allow Google Maps, we use Google Maps Platform for address suggestions and estimated distances and journey times. Google receives information including your IP address, browser and device details, search terms, and selected pickup and destination locations. Google review authors’ profile photos may also load directly from Google. The provider for EEA users is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Data may also be processed outside the EEA, including in the United States. The Google policies linked below explain its technologies, retention periods and international transfers.
Reviews
Public Google reviews and the overall rating are fetched through our server and displayed with source and author attribution. This request does not require your browser to connect directly to Google. Profile photos remain disabled until you allow Google. Opening an external Google link takes you to a separate site with its own settings and policies.
Change or withdraw consent
You can change your choice for future use at any time through Cookie settings in the footer. Withdrawing consent reloads the page so that Google scripts already loaded cannot continue running. Unsubmitted form details will be lost. This does not automatically delete data already sent to Google. You can also remove stored cookies in your browser; we will then ask for your choice again.
Analytics, advertising and external links
This version does not include analytics or advertising trackers. It does not automatically load YouTube or social media embeds. External links, including Google and the existing The Taxi website, open separate websites with their own privacy settings.
Ride requests and contact
Details in a submitted ride request are stored on our server to handle the request; they are not cookies. For information about the controller, your privacy rights and contact details, see The Taxi’s privacy policy and legal notice. This cookie policy supplements those documents.
